Laurencia Irena was born in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1997. She pursued her studies in Tokyo, Japan before continuing her degree at Istituto Marangoni London. She then graduated her BA in fashion design with honours in 2019 and received the ‘Cross-school award Best Portfolio of the year’ and ‘Fashion Design Best Portfolio of The Year’.

Throughout her studies in Tokyo and London, she found herself seeking inspiration from diverse cultures.

She launched her brand Laurencia Irena in 2020.

Her designs pay homage to the romantic era, playing also on gothic and abstract details. The brand’s logo, an unruly flower represents the candid, honesty, and the raw side of femininity.

Laurencia Irena was built within the confines of a dream of femininity. Laurencia then grew into a varied collection, all of which express a romantic touch that captures elements of western and eastern themes.
